Following partly in the footsteps of the future Charles II after his defeat at the Battle of Worcester (he hid in the Royal Standard of England) and walking through the beechwoods of Buckinghamshire that supplied the wood for local furniture makers (based mainly in High Wycombe). We will walk through Knotty Green, Penn, Beacon Hill and return to Beaconsfield by way of Deacon’s Farm.
