Whitton to Kew Bridge linear

Ramble: 3407. Meet: Whitton station 11.30am. Distance: 5.25 miles. Lunch: The Royal Oak, 128 Worton Road, Isleworth TW7 6EP (GR TQ154755) 12.15. Travel: London Waterloo 10.58, Putney 11.11 and Richmond 11.17. Alternatively Wimbledon 10.42, Raynes Park 10.46 changing at Twickenham for 11.22. Frequent return trains to London Waterloo from Kew Bridge station. All within Freedom Pass boundary. Leader: Rosemary 07486 081775. This is a walk ideal for a January day being flat and very easy. We start along the River Crane changing almost immediately to the Duke of Northumberland’s river which we take toIsleworth where it flows into the Thames. We then walk through Syon Park and on our exit pick up the Thames Path to reach Kew Bridge. There are no stiles and plenty of drop out places on the route.
