About 3 miles before lunch and 3 miles after. The walk takes in Mad Bess Wood, Ruislip Woods National Nature Reserve and Ruislip Lido. There is a bus service (H13) to and from Ruislip or Ruislip Manor tube stations (both Metropolitan or Piccadilly Lines) to the lunch venue (Ruislip Lido) Some hills but good surface mainly throughout.
