Distance: 7 miles.

Newark Priory and River Wey Walk. The first part of the walk takes us to the canal en route to the Anchor pub at Pyrford Lock for an early lunch. The majority of the walk is in the afternoon along the River Wey and Wey Navigation System, where we will also enjoy great views of the ruins of Newark Priory. Thereafter we will walk on to Pyrford village to visit St Nicholas (Norman) church, before proceeding through countryside alongside a golf course and on to Woking station. There is some pavement walking towards the end.
