Waterloo to Vauxhall via Battersea linear

Ramble: 3434. Meet at Waterloo station (main) SE1 8SW (by the Windrush statue -opposite the toilets at Southbank exit end) at 11.15am. Distance 6 miles. Leader: Richard (07930 338 571) Walk: Along the Southbank from Waterloo, passing the London Eye, Westminster Bridge and Lambeth before crossing at Vauxhall Bridge to the north side and thence along Grosvenor Road to the lunch stop. After lunch continuing along the south bank of the Thames past the Chelsea Hospital to the Albert Bridge across which we then go through Battersea Park to the power station, where we can take a short stop to see the new retail development there. Thence continue on along the Thames Path through Nine Elms to Vauxhall station where we finish.
