Travel: Strawberry Hill station is on a loop line from Waterloo station. Two trains leave
Waterloo within three minutes of each other (and yet a third overtakes the second train,
change at Richmond). The earlier train is recommended. (Second train, times in

After a circuit of Strawberry Hill House Garden and a short stretch of road walking, we
cross the Thames at Teddington lock and continue to Kingston for lunch. After, we cross
Kingston bridge and follow the Thames to Hampton Court and station. (3.5 miles before
lunch (2h 5m walk, inc. visit to gardens.). After lunch 3.7 miles (1h 50m walk).
