St James`s Park to Notting Hill Gate linear

Distance: 6 miles (3.8 miles before lunch)

 

Lunch: The Goat Tavern, 3a Kensington High Street, W8 5NP (GR TQ258796) 13.15

 

Travel: St James’s Park LU station, on the Circle and District lines. Return from Notting Hill Gate LU station  also on the Circle and District lines. All within Freedom Pass boundary.

A linear easy walk through St James’s Park, past Buckingham Palace, through Green Park to the Wellington Arch. Then to Hyde Park walking along the Serpentine and the Long Water to Lancaster Gate, across Kensington Gardens to Kensington High Street for lunch. After lunch, continuing to Holland Park and then through the Park via the Japanese garden. After which going to Notting Hill Gate underground station. Expected finish time c 15.30.

Being based in central London there are plenty of drop-out points, if required.
