(The 65 Bus stops outside New Inn, every 8 minutes to and from Richmond Station.) After lunch we shall enter Richmond Park (National Nature Reserve) through Ham Gate, then to the Isabella Plantation to view the seasonally blooming azaleas and rhododendrons. We shall leave Richmond Park by Petersham Gate, following the footpath past Petersham Church and across Petersham Meadows to re-join the towpath and return to Richmond Station. There are a number of cafes and pubs around Richmond Station.
