Princes Risborough to Wendover (via Chequers) linear.

Ramble: 3415. Meet: Princes Risborough station at 11.09. Distance 6.5 miles. Lunch: The Plough at Cadsden HP27 0NB (GR SP826 044) 13.15. Travel: Marylebone (Chiltern Line) 10.37. Return trains from Wendover 16.55, 17.25, 17.55 (Chiltern Line).  Underground (Met line) every 30 mins. Buy two single tickets. Outward Freedom Pass boundary West Ruislip. Return Freedom Pass boundary Amersham. Leader: Gould 07985 687 800. The panoramic Chilterns are in full view throughout the walk. Once we leave Princess Risborough Station we follow the Icknield Way and Ridgeway via Whiteleaf Hill with brilliant views over Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire plus an Anglo-Saxon burial mound (2.25 miles). After lunch we return to the Ridgeway with marvellous views over Chequers and on to Coomb Hill with a memorial regarding the South African campaigns and then on to Wendover station. Please note the walk will be hilly in parts.
