Hampstead Heath circular

Distance: 5.5 miles.

A well-known walk with a couple of mysterious twists thrown in. We will stray on to West Heath and Sandy Heath in the morning and then lunch at the famous Spaniards. In the afternoon we will circumnavigate the Heath in a clockwise direction, enjoying views across London from several vantage points, and will reach the frontier marked by the Lido if time and weather permit. Much of the walk will be off footpaths and may be muddy.
