A walk in a rural stretch of Enfield passing through Hillyfields Park to follow the old course of the New River up to Forty Hall Estate, to stroll around the walled garden before returning downhill to follow the Turkey Brook to visit Myddleton House Gardens before lunch. These extensive gardens were once home to the gardener, Edward Bowles and should be at their best in Spring Continuing after lunch past Capel Manor, along Whitewebbs Lane and through Whitewebbs Wood back to the station. There is a moderate climb to and from Forty Hall and mud can be encountered. Opt-out at lunchtime possible from Turkey Street Station about 20 minutes walk away.
