Travel: Liverpool Street (London Overground) 11.00, Seven Sisters 11.17. Return from Enfield Lock station; frequent trains to Liverpool Street or Stratford. Within Freedom Pass boundary.

A walk following part of the Pymmes Brook trail to Pickets Lock and then along the River Lea to King George’s Reservoir for lunch. Morning distance 2.5 miles. After lunch the walk follows the River Lea towpath to Enfield Island Village and then to Enfield Lock station for homeward trains. Some parts of the towpath are rough, so sturdy footwear is advised.
