The walk takes us to Barnes Bridge with wide ranging river views and then along quiet
footpaths to Barnes. We then take a long uphill route on to Putney Heath and the lunch spot.
Afterwards we walk on Wimbledon Common on various undulating routes to the War
Memorial and then down to the station. Main line station, District line and tram for return
journey. Frequent drop out points on the morning section and at lunchtime.
