Ramble 3391. Meet Leytonstone station at 11:30. Distance 5.5 miles. Lunch: The George, 70 High Road, South Woodford, EssexE18 2QL (GR 402902) at 13:00. Travel: Leytonstone station on the Central Line . Within Freedom Pass area. Contact Marjorie on the day on 07547 232812. Turn left to leave station noticing the Hitchcock movie mosaics on the walls of the exit passage. The 3 mile walk to lunch crosses the Leyton Flats to the southern edge of Epping Forest. The return takes a different route through the forest and across the flats back to the station. The route can get very muddy
