A figure-of-eight walk, with a woodland walk on the northern edge, lunch at the excellent pub near the station, and then a hike up open and fairly gentle grassy slopes to the summit of Box Hill. From the summit, the walk follows the marked trail around the top (where there is a café), and then descends to the pub and station via a choice of routes. Well-known views all the way.
