A lovely walk close to the north-eastern top of the Chilterns, taking in far-reaching views. We will avoid the steep climb out of Aldbury and instead take to the open countryside to the north before turning west at Ashridge. The return leg offers contrasting hilltop views to the west and south and then woodland. Apart from a short stretch out of Tring station the walk is off-road.
