After lunch a small fleet of luxury charabancs transport us from the pub to the start of an easy afternoon stretch which brings us back to Fran & Richard’s imposing mansions which will once again play host to all walkers who might wish to imbibe a wide range of beverages, hot and cold, together with an even wider range of consumables which will, no doubt, include one of Fran’s magnificent homemade cakes.
Notes: Anyone wishing to join at lunchtime should travel to Cobham/Stoke D’Abernon station (Waterloo to Guildford via Coham/Stoke D’A) which is a 5 min. walk to the pub. Anyone wishing to drive to Bookham may do so and park in our Merrylands Farm carpark. Cuppas offered to anyone wishing to do so and arriving by 11.20.
