Return from Bourne End 16.13\, 17.29\, 17.59\, 18.29\, 18.59. Freedom Pass accepted on the Elizabeth Line service to and from central London to Maidenhead. \nContact: Gould 07985 687 800 \nThames Valley Splendour. A lovely walk taking in gorgeous views of the Thames\, through the old town of Cookham then a steady uphill climb with excellent views of the Thames Valley to lunch at Cookham Dean. Morning walk 3.25 miles. Then we head through the famous Copas Turkey Farm then onwards to the boundary of the ancient Quarry Wood and then taking in some more beautiful views before dropping down through Winter Hill to Cock Marsh\, passing some ancient Anglo-Saxon burial mounds. Then back to Bourne End Station\, taking those who wish a libation a stop at The Bounty overlooking the Thames. \n

Return by bus from Claygate to Surbiton or Kingston for frequent trains to London Waterloo. If returning from Claygate station a ticket will need to be purchased. Freedom Pass boundary\, Surbiton. \nLeader: Rosemary 07486 081 775 \nOn leaving Esher station the walk passes through a residential area to cross both the river Ember and the river Mole\, past a golf course and eventually to reach the attractive village of West End for lunch. Afterwards the walk takes us into woods and by ponds to cross the A3 into Oxshott Heath and back to Esher Common\, Arbrook Common and on to Claygate.About 2.5 miles before lunch. No suitable drop out points.
