DESCRIPTION:Ramble: 3462. Meet: Totteridge and Whetstone station (Northern Line) N20 9QP 11.45. Distance: 5 miles. Lunch: Three Hammers PH\, Hammers Lane\, Ridgeway\, Mill Hill\, London NW7 4EA (GR TQ223929) 13.30. Travel: Northern Line Tube (within Freedom Pass zone). At the end of the walk we will take the 251 bus back along Totteridge Lane to the tube station Leader: Laurie 07811 588 988. A parkland walk with no steepness or stiles but which can be wet underfoot following rain\, taking in some pleasant countryside on the Northern edge of London. A 4 mile walk to the lunch stop after which those that wish to drop out can take the 240 bus to Edgware or Golders Green. After lunch a walk of a further mile back to Totteridge Lane for the 251 bus back to Totteridge tube station. Those that have more energy can continue the walk following some of the Dollis Valley Greenwalk and the London Loop for a further 3.5 miles to the station. (A self guide map can be provided for those that wish that).

Travel: On Central Line train for Epping. Journey time from Bank station to Theydon Bois is 35 minutes. Within Freedom Pass boundary. Leader: Peter 07528 716 569. We walk four miles (approx. 1hour 45 mins) from Theydon Bois station on good paths through Epping Forest to the Kings Oak pub. The afternoon walk is 2.5 miles to Loughton station. Apart from some road walking when we leave and approach the stations the walk is all off road – although they are never far away. No drop out points other than taxi from the pub.

Leader: Ann 07948 500 518.  A nice gentle walk beside the Thames along Barge Walk to Hampton Court – 3 miles.  Return to Kingston via Bushey Park\, past the Heron and the Leg of Mutton ponds\, and through Millennium Wood.
