(The 65 Bus stops outside New Inn\, every 8 minutes to and from Richmond Station.) After lunch we shall enter Richmond Park (National Nature Reserve) through Ham Gate\, then to the Isabella Plantation to view the seasonally blooming azaleas and rhododendrons. From Great Missenden we walk 1.5 miles to Little Kingshill for lunch. After lunch the walk widens out to circle round Great Kingshill and towards Prestwood\, through several beech woods on the way back to Great Missenden. There are no drop-out points and buses are infrequent\, but for anyone wanting a short walk it is possible to retrace the morning’s steps after lunch.
