These extensive gardens were once home to the gardener\, Edward Bowles and should be at their best in Spring  Continuing after lunch past Capel Manor\, along Whitewebbs Lane and through Whitewebbs Wood back to the station.  There is a moderate climb to and from Forty Hall and mud can be encountered.  Opt-out at lunchtime possible from Turkey Street Station about 20 minutes walk away.

DESCRIPTION:Ramble: 3392. Meet: Camden Town Underground Station (Northern Line) at 11:30\, to finish at Blackfriars Underground Station (District and Circle Lines). Distance: 4.75 miles. Lunch: The Barrel Vault (Wetherspoons)\, Unit 23\, St Pancras International Station\, Euston Road\, N1 9AL. (GR301833). Both stations are within the Freedom Pass area. The morning distance is about 2.25 miles. \nGuide/flavour of walk: short/urban with some enjoyable areas\, like the hustle\, bustle & colour of Camden Town\, then the old towpath along Regents Canal\, hopefully a park at St Pancras\, then the course of the River Fleet south from Kings X.\nThe pub is very spacious\, with an outside dining area. When I did the recce\, the instructions were to test & trace\, and to order from your table. I noticed a max of 4 places at some tables\, but the guy hinted that\, if things are quiet on the day\, maybe 2 tables could be pushed together outside.
