Travel: Train from Victoria 10.41 Clapham Junction 10.48 Arrives 11.05 Mitcham Junction. Wimbledon platform 10  for any tram 10.41 to Mitcham Junction (not Mitcham) arriving 10.55 or every 10 minutes. Trains also available from London Blackfriars and St Albans Thameslink to Mitcham junction See TFL journey planner website for intermediate stations. Leader: Marion 07748 185 367 Mainly on flat common land and parkland paths. Some small stretches of mud after rain but easy peasy pace. Mitcham common Beddington farmlands and Park Grove park\, Carshalton Ponds Ecology centre Wilderness island Hackbridge . Lunch in Carshalton after 4 miles with visit to the Honeywood Museum ( no charge). Finish at Hackbridge after a further 2 miles. It’s Marion’s birthday so please join us just for lunch or for the afternoon only 2 miles to Hackbridge if they have eaten too much over Christmas and New Year. 16 places maximum for lunch so please book asap.
