SUMMARY:Waterloo to Blackfriars (linear via Tower Bridge)
DESCRIPTION:Ramble: 3459 Meet: Waterloo station 11.15 (by the National Windrush Monument) Distance 6.8 miles (3.9 miles to the lunch stop and 2.9 miles after) Lunch: The Liberty Bounds\, 15 Trinity Square\, Tower Hill 13.15\nAll travel within Freedom Pass area. Leader: Laurie 07811 588 988. This walk takes in the Southbank in the morning\, walking by the River Thames from Waterloo to Tower Bridge\, then crossing the bridge from South to north and passing along the river by the Tower of London and up to lunch at Trinity Square. After lunch we will call in at another 3 pubs- The Crosse Keys at 9 Gracechurch Street\, The Banker at Cousin Lane EC4 by the river near Cannon Street\, and then along the Thames Path on the north bank until we reach The Blackfriar at Blackfriars Bridge where the walk will end. There are many drop out places along the way.
